Well Built in FWIX

After Candida’s closed a few years ago, we finally have a replacement. Well Built has been around for about a month now: it’s a furniture store, owned by Anne Blackwell, dedicated to sustainability. Their website says that the showroom has “an array of goods by a handful of great companies to peruse.” READ MORE

Now open along 14th's emerging "furniture corridor", Built's a tastefully sparse, concrete-floored emporium of modern design, hawking rare home-goods like clean-lined wooden dining tables, minimalist wicker chairs, and a red, eight-armed hanging lamp (looks like an upside down spider) from Turkish designers Auttobahn, a brand on which you must act fast. READ MORE
